We at
Auer Kitchens pride ourselves on providing a complete and comprehensive
service from the initial design consultation to the final installation. We
also provide cabinetry and cabinetry design if you already have a
contractor.
VISIT OUR SHOWROOM
Call a designer to set an appointment so that you may have our undivided
attention. This initial consultation is always at no cost to you. If
you’re in the area, feel free to stop by our showroom without an
appointment. There is always someone here to offer you a cold drink and
answer any general questions.
For a formal showroom meeting we encourage customers to bring along
anything that inspires them. It can range from magazine clippings to a
favorite piece of art. Each kitchen has a personality that should reflect
your personal style and your home. We work with you to identify what this
is and how we can incorporate it into your kitchen. Other things that will
be discussed at this time are your expectations, your budget parameters,
and appliances. We will also introduce you to our semi-custom and full
custom cabinet lines and send you home with a generous packet of
literature to look at on your own time.
MEASURE & HOME VISIT
At the first home visit, your designer will gather precise measurements
and photos of your kitchen, as well as gain an understanding of your
home’s mechanical systems – plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling.
But it’s more than that. What is the view from the foyer? Are you casual
or formal? Do you love to display collections? Does your kitchen get lots
of sun? Is access to the deck a top priority?
These considerations mean your new kitchen will do more than just fit the
walls; it will fit you and your family’s lifestyle.
PRESENTATION
During the presentation you will review a well thought out, fully designed
floor plan with perspectives and/or elevations. At this time we will also
review the product and pricing for plans presented. By the end of this
meeting you will have enough information to make a buying decision.
REVISION PROCESS
This is the fun part! During this phase, you and your designer will modify
the presented plan, making it truly yours in every respect. Revisions may
include:
• Basic shape and traffic flow
• Appearance of cabinets
• Specialized function and storage
• Staying on budget.
Cabinetry style and color will be finalized, as well as appliance
selection.
SIGNING THE CONTRACT
You will meet with your designer to sign a formal contract. It will be
reviewed in detail and any questions will be addressed before signing. The
signing of the proposal and down payment will trigger the ordering of the
cabinetry.
SELECTIONS
After you and your designer make the decisions regarding cabinetry, an
Auer Kitchens Selections Coordinator will accompany you to local suppliers
to help select and educate you on material performances and maintenance.
We assist you in protecting your investment by guiding you to products
that best fit your individual needs. These items may be hardware,
plumbing, counter tops, flooring, & backsplash tile.
CONSTRUCTION PROCESS
Auer Kitchens has the remarkable reputation for actually making the
construction process…enjoyable! Yes, it’s stressful, but we ease the
stress in a number of ways:
• We can assist in setting up your temporary kitchen by providing a
microwave, hot plate, even fresh cold and hot filtered water.
• We protect your home by installing dust control barriers, and by
covering floors and furnishings to keep the work from taking over the rest
of the house.
• At the end of each workday, we will clean and tidy the work areas, so
you can admire the progress.
• Most important of all is the relationship you will build with your Auer
Kitchens staff carpenter who will oversee your project. He will keep you
fully informed regarding progress and scheduling expectations, and will
listen to your concerns.
Your designer will continue to stay involved with your project throughout
the construction phase, including job site visits, working with the
carpenters to see that your vision is realized.
SERVICE & WARRANTY
Auer Kitchens has been servicing the community for over 45 years. We still
service kitchens that we installed many years ago… so rest assured that we
will be here in the future. Our customers find this to be a valuable
service long after the sale. Auer Kitchens employees service the
warranties of your kitchen with the exception of appliances. We offer a
one-year warranty on the work performed and materials supplied by us for a
period of one year from the date of completion. Our cabinetry warranties
range from 10 years to lifetime for parts. |
