Auer Kitchens will gladly work with you and your builder and architect, as
well as your interior designer and audio-visual specialist. Building on
their concepts, we will design and provide cabinetry for your kitchen,
baths, library, even entertainment centers.
Your builder will appreciate the detailed information we provide on
cabinet installation and appliance specifications, as well as on-site
consultations.
At your option, you and the builder can even “sub-out” the entire kitchen
installation to Auer Kitchens.
VISIT OUR SHOWROOM
Call a designer to set an appointment so that you may have our undivided
attention. This initial consultation is always at no cost to you. We
encourage you to involve your builder in this visit as well. If you’re in
the area, feel free to stop by our showroom without an appointment. There
will always be someone there to offer you a cold drink and answer any
general questions.
Please bring along a set of plans and anything that inspires you. It can
range from magazine clippings to a favorite piece of art. Each kitchen has
a personality that should reflect your personal style and your home. We
work with you to identify what this is and how we can incorporate it into
your kitchen. Other things that will be discussed at this time are your
expectations, budget parameters, and appliance needs. We will also
introduce you to our semi-custom and full custom cabinet lines and send
you home with a generous packet of literature to look at on your own time.
PRESENTATION
During the presentation we will review plans & sketches for the proposed
areas. Pricing for you and your builder will also be presented. By the end
of this meeting you should feel comfortable to make an educated buying
decision.
REVISION PROCESS
This is the fun part! During this phase, you and your designer will modify
the presented plan, making it truly yours in every respect. Revisions may
include:
• Basic shape and traffic flow
• Appearance of cabinets
• Specialized function and storage
• Staying on budget
Cabinetry style and color will be finalized, as well as appliance
selection. We will also make specific lighting suggestions. These meetings
may also include your builder so that we can keep him fully informed.
SIGNING THE CONTRACT
You will meet with your designer and builder to sign a formal contract. It
will be reviewed in detail and any questions will be addressed before
signing. The signing of the proposal and down payment will trigger the
ordering of the cabinetry.
